CITYFRAMES is a newly launched project on Kickstarter that allows the users to capture their favorite city in a frame. A 22-year-old guy named Alex has developed 3-D models of various cities for over 2 years and now finally introduced them on Kickstarter with a goal of 10,000€. The funds raised will cover the cost of getting the project from prototypes to actual production. He is expecting more people to contribute to the campaign as the project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by October 7th, 2019.

CITYFRAMES is a beautiful and unique piece of art that features a 3D model of major cities around the globe. The model is intricately created so the viewer can experience their favorite city up close, and watch every building, street and more. Alex has used an advanced 3D printing technique that allows highly detailed mapping of cities so even the smallest structures are visible. The model is made of synthetic polymers derived mainly from corn starch, which durable, high quality and long-lasting material. Once the 3D model is printed, it is attached to an underground and attachment plate, and then sealed carefully and securely in a wooden frame.

The City Frame can be placed on any flat surface or hanged on the wall using the provided mounting plate to instantly boost the beauty of any space. The low weight of the attachment plates and wooden frame allows easy mounting on the wall. It also makes a great conversation starter reminds the viewer of their love for the city they chose. So far, CITYFRAMES is available for cities like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Montreal, Toronto, Zurich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Singapore among others.

City Frames are available in XS to L sizes with XS being a square of 7.5 inches and L is available in options of both Square (25.2*25.2 inches) and rectangle (19.3*31.1 inches). In the exclusive edition, City Frames is available in bigger sizes showing the whole cities, for example, Manhattan, New York City is available in quite large sizes.
