Walker Street General Practice Facilitates Virtual Mothers Group Meet-Up for New Mums
Sydney, New South Wales – May 12, 2020 – The team at Walker Street General Practice are facilitating virtual mother’s group meet-up for moms who gave birth this year and mothers who are expecting. Walker Street General Practice is a family-owned Medical Centre in Bowral that provides comprehensive care with a personal touch to the community.

The aim of the “2020 Mother’s Group Southern Highlands” virtual meet up is to help both mothers and mothers-to-be who cannot meet with others in person or even have someone to support them this time. This meet up can help them find an instant support network with other local mothers who have had babies recently and going through the same journey.”
He emphasized, “The mothers group Southern Highlands virtual meet up is open for expecting mums. Mothers can get connected, share their experience, help each other, learn, and personally grow. Mothers can gain support and encouragement from other mothers while building a relationship together. The virtual meet up with our GP, who is also a mother, local Physiotherapist, Dietician/Nutritionist and Psychologist/Counsellor, will definitely help manage the fears of childbirth and parenting.”
“We have created a complimentary 4 week program for mums and bubs in Highlands. Each week mothers will be able to get connected with other local mothers through video conference, which is facilitated by one of our GP’s. By the end of the fourth week; we hope that mothers could have learnt a few things and build a relationship with other mums,” concluded the Spokesperson.
