Grossmont Adult Education is San Diego’s finest adult school, with programs to help anyone grow in their careers. Recently, Grossmont Adult Education partnered with Caliber Collision to further the success of Grossmont’s Collision Repair class!

Caliber Collision is America’s largest collision repair company, as boasted on their website. They say that they are “committed to one thing: you.” They say this commitment has built the foundation for all of their success, and they work to continuing to cultivate this commitment within their company culture every day.

With Caliber Collision’s input, a new plastic welder was purchased for the Collision Repair class at Grossmont Adult Education. Plastic welders are a quick and inexpensive way to fix the plastic parts on a car. According to The Auto Body Toolmart, these durable repairs work on bumpers, grills, headlights and other plastic parts. For example: Instead of replacing your bumper, costing you $300-$700, you can seal cracks on your bumper with a plastic welder instead. 

This new training using the plastic welder will add to the skills already taught in Grossmont’s Collision Repair class — such as auto shop safety and maintenance —  making Grossmont Adult Education Students an employer’s first choice for hiring.
