East Transitional Living Center children join Ministries of Shadow Mountain Church on a fishing adventure.

EL CAJON, CA – This summer Tom Heyer of Angel Tree, a ministry of Shadow Mountain Church, hosted a fishing trip to Point Loma Pier and invited the children at East County Transitional Living Center.  Some of the children had never fished before so it was an exciting time! One of our kids caught the biggest fish and another caught the most fish. To top the day off they ate fish they caught.

Over the summer, East County Transitional Living Center was able to participate in a variety of activities, one of them being a fishing tip to Point Loma Pier!

Since some of the children with ECTLC had never fished before, there was much excitement surrounding the new opportunity. One of the ECTLC kids caught the biggest fish, and another one caught the most fish! To top it all off — they got to revel in their work and eat the fish they caught.

Shadow Mountain Church provides several ministries, including but not limited to ones for women, families and young married couples. On their website, their Pastor Dr. David Jeremiah says, “Shadow Mountain is made up of people just like you, and it is a place with something for everyone, regardless of the stage in life.”
